Summary: The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again that day until 6pm! I stayed in a single room. My bed was so comfy, whole room and bathroom were immaculate and I had a full range of hot drinks to make and a biscuit selection which was welcome after a busy day. Lady who checked me in was lovely. I had to walk into the pub to check in as I checked in quite late in the night but I was expecting that as I knew what I had booked. I didn’t get to explore Amble but from what I even saw in the dark, the hotel is in a fab location. I even had a little view of what I assume was Amble Dock. Can’t fault the hotel or staff or food at all! 10/10 will definitely stay again
